We understand from experience the difficulty in choosing the best equipment ranges from quality, to price point, to budget. Unfortunately, cheap equipment built for general purposes is often the accepted standard. Some of these obstacles are born from stubborn procedures, to wasteful spending, to questionable contracts. These problems have long been left unanswered. To some degree these issues have troubled military personnel for over 50 years. It’s one that reaches far beyond the obvious issues associated with increased operational effectiveness in both short-term and prolonged sustainable operations. Shrike Industries created a piece of equipment that is simple yet effective, versatile yet light, and useable yet unique. The Shrike OM27-S Combat Assault Tool was created out of a need that was significant, yet has never been seriously addressed. The Combat Counter Weight (CCW 101) provides a multipurpose tool that can increase surgical target acquisition and mission execution associated with the use and wear of Night Vision Goggle devices. The design and engineering was a compilation of real time information directed through veterans and special warfare operation groups. The OM27-S was engineered as the “Go-To- Tool” for every Ground Combat Element (GCE) that finds him or herself in an urban survival or escape and evasion environment.

Shrike Industries was incorporated in 2009 and is completely privately funded. It was founded by Tim Langan & Joe Rivas III.
