TARGET: Military, Paramilitary, Law Enforcement, and First Responder personnel who conduct security operations or disaster relief both domestically and internationally in urban and austere environments.
CHALLENGE: How do you minimize the injuries, noncompliance and other issues associated with the unbalanced wear of Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) for the operator? Furthermore, how do you provide a product with versatility when faced with budgetary constraints and load bearing limitations?
SOLUTION: Shrike Industries created a multi-functioning Combat Counter Weight (CCW) as a force multiplier to increase the effectiveness of every operator while using NVG devices. Ultimately resulting in preparedness of personnel assets on the ground, which translates to maximizing survivability and mitigating injury, mortality and failed missions due to combat fatigue and tension.
RESULT: The CCW has been field tested and approved by SEAL Team operators, SF Green Beret’s, and Elite Members of the United States Marine Corps rank and file. The responses to our demonstrations and field tests have been overwhelming. The CCW reduced neck strain and increased operational effectiveness.
